converting auto to manual
how hard is it to do this conversion? The truck I am looking at is a 350/350 auto, and I told myself my next truck would be a stick, it is not original so I am not worried about modifying it, just wondering how hard it would be.

Iv'e got a 3 speed transmission out of a 1970 swb. Changed it to an auto. You will need a cross member, shift linkage, clutch rod and bracket, clutch pedal, bell housing, clutch and more. I just trashed most of what you would have needed. The only thing I kept was the trans and the aftermarket floor shifter. If you need them, let me know.

i cant help with parts, but will say that the 3 spd sag trans will bolt down in the same spot that the 350T was bolted to(auto crossmember). You dont need to worry about the bell mount crossmember ,unless you are planning to run a 4 spd truck trans. As far as the conversion, its pretty straight foward......as long as you have all the pcs you need good luck, crazyL
