The dang thing doesn't have bolt holes!!
I've been collecting all the parts I needed to install AC in the truck. Went to see Bill at Atheys yesterday to get the brackets and pulleys.
I was going to test fit them today and found out the right hand head doesnt have accessory holes!!!!! I know the block is a 350. What heads did GM make that would not have add passenger side accessories? I haven't checked the numbers yet but I assume they're GM. I've got an all new ball game now!!!! Cheers, |

If you have the factory AC brackets, then you will not need a head with accessory holes. The factory brackets bolt to the water pump, exhaust manifold and intake manifold.
I can take a pic tomorrow night if you need it. Jim |

Early 265,283,327 and i've heard of 68-9 350 without accessory holes, but have never seen the 350 heads myself.

I assumed they bolted flush to the head. A pic would be great if you have one.

Yup those are GM pre 70 heads without the accessory holes. I havent seen a pair of them in a while. I'll have to look but I don't think my 72 uses the head holes for the AC. It uses the exhaust manifold and I think the water pump for mounting.

Here are a couple of pics of the brackets without the compressor. Hopefully you can see what you need to do.
