Noob building a 72 GMC 4x4 longbox NEED ADVICE

So this will be my first 'build'
It's more of an assembly. I've purchased a 1972 GMC longbow 4x4 c10. It came in pieces the cab, motor, tranny box, wiring etc is all apart. I need to put this truck together and I'm kinda on my own.

The motor and tranny are still wrapped from the shop. Still finding out exactly what was done to it. 350 w a th400.

I'm thinking I am going to start by mounting the motor and tranny to the frame. The frame is together with all the front wheel linkage and rear leafs and axles are all in.

Following motor and running gear would be the cab? And then...

Pics help a bunch.
As far as assembly goes, you should look at mounting the cab first and then slide the motor/tranny in to be sure it’s in the right place.
