Pitman arm for 73-87 crossmember swap

Just wondering if I need to use a 73-87 pitman arm or the 67-72 pitman arm. It is a 60 C10 with a 73-87 crossmember swap along with the 73-87 steering box. Thanks

You need to use the pitman arm specific to the steering box you are using.

Ok thank you I will have to take a good look at them. I am using a complete cpp kit that is specific to the 60-62 truck somit included a new box and pitman arm. I just wasn’t sure if the other end of the new 67-72 pitman arm would work with the rest of the 73-87 steering components that I am using with the crossmember swap. I will look into it and see if they have any major differences, thanks.

A '67-'70 pitman arm is not going to work on a power steering box. Those are for either a manual steering application or power assist.

Re: Pitman arm for 73-87 crossmember swap

The one in the cpp kit was for a 67-72 truck with power steering. It looked almost exactly the same as the old pitman arm that came
With the 73-87 crossmember setup. It seems to fit fine. Thanks
