Re: WTB: TH350 dust cover

you need to specify 4 bolt tin or 6 bolt aluminum for 4x4 type use .

good luck in the hunt .

Re: WTB: TH350 dust cover

case is cast a bit different on most with 4 bolt holes / tin cover . some tho i have sen were 4x4 case just never drilled / tapped holes for the 6 bolt .

its NOT a deal breaker for your trans to be the reg case and not a 4x4 case .

I believe the trans in my truck is a salvage yard replacement the bolts to the pump have been painted with marking paint an identifier from back in the day? never the less could I use an aluminum cover? will it bolt up to the 4 bolt housing without any clearance issues?

Re: WTB: TH350 dust cover

I only have a 2wd 400 trans here, so I wanted to confirm if the aluminum cover fits a 350
I can get the aluminum cover to fit the 400 but the holes aren’t working and the plastic cover dose not fit the 400
Maybe get a measurement of your trans holes, I think the plastic one is correct, also I found a metal cover here today that I believe is a 350 also, both the metal and plastic are 4 mounting holes

Re: WTB: TH350 dust cover

I would be interested in the steel or the aluminum. are the bolt holes the same on the aluminum as the steel?

Re: WTB: TH350 dust cover

The plastic and steel covers have the same mounting holes pattern and neither fit my 400.
The aluminum cover fits my 400 but my 400 is not drilled in the same spots as the cover.
I’ll wipe down the steel cover and get you a picture and price to ship.

Re: WTB: TH350 dust cover

Hunter I had a crazy day so NO time to clean the cover, I am unsure how to use a UPS shipping calculator but the tightest box I could fit it in is
14”L
15”W
9 1/2 H
Maybe weight at 3#
Maybe you have an idea how to figure shipping
Otherwise I can get a quote tomorrow
