What calipers are included in that front kit? The calipers wilwood lists for these trucks are $328 on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010U5PRY8..._N3OpCbV0BJ3TK Imo that link is a little pricey for some drilled slotted rotors. Same front rotors are $70ea on Rockauto

That’s exactly what it is. Drifters use it to lock rear wheels on demand. Proper way they do it is add a second caliper but budget folks use a setup like that in-line on the rear brake line. I don’t see why the same theory wouldn’t work as an ebrake. Searching hydro brake install on YouTube there’s hundreds of videos.

There are some serious safety concerns with that for me. I don’t want up to 2,000psi in my brake system at all times for say a week or more. Sure to cause issues over time and failures here could cost a pretty penny. Then for me there’s the issue of accidentally pulling this handle (kids etc) depending on where you install it. I sound like an old grandpa now

They are D154 calipers as far as i can tell. No other caliper they sell looks like that on their website.

That said, there isn't a ton of overhead on that kit although it is expensive. Basically, buying JUST one caliper (no shoes included) is $164. So if I bought your rockauto rotors, the d154 calipers, I would be at $448 and still need to buy shoes which the kit inclues. So probalby wasting $30 is my guess? almost worth just buying the kit at that point.

what is more confusing to me though is why the rear calipers in the 140-10094 kit have 4 piston calipers and all I get is 2 pistons up front? Here's the rear brake kit caliper details.

All these options considered, let's be real.....in a big way this is more looks than performance. I am not tracking the truck so cooling etc is a moot point, and disc/drum brakes can lock the tires up aleady, so unless i have stickier and/or bigger tires, nothing is stopping me shorter distances by going bigger/better brakes. I do realize also that it is easier to manage with a better braking system as well (easier to threshold brake, etc.

If the camaro calipers/rotors looked like the wilwoods, I wouldn't be deliberating, lol.
I want either one of the two options. I wish i had more info form lt4xtreme.
