Pics of my 1971 GMC project almost done
I need opinions on my rims bolt pattern question posted also today, but I realized I did not ever post pics of my latest project.
1971 GMC with 64K original miles. 350/4 spd / factory tach. I upgraded optional trim and hounds tooth interior.. |

Dont know about your other rims, I do like the look of your truck right now raised white letters always a nice touch.

Nice truck and I'm glad you posted a pic of it. My project truck is a 72 Sierra Grande with the same color. I'm needing a kick to get started on it and seeing yours finished helped.

Thanks Red71, I truly love these trucks. I too will go big for weeks working on my projects then get tired and leave them sit for many weeks.... I am going to go with a gun metal torque thrust II type rim and keep my rallies for other projects, and I would like opinions on my steering wheel as I don’t feel it is original even though some say it is. I dont feel it is......
I like original trucks so even if I customize the odd item I always save the original stuff such as the complete points ignition system. |

That steering wheel is definitely not original. It's from a later model square body truck. I personally like the stock 3 spoke factory sport wheel, but the the correct standard one would look good too.
