Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

These were on the truck when I got it recently. Neighbor said they are Ford wheels, based on the bigger center hole. I've been waiting for the guy who bought the '69 to get my slotted mags back to me.

Actually, The Roadster Shop sells a forged billet version that 'looks' like a steel wheel. Forgeline makes them for RS. They come in 19, 20, & 22's & start @ $1625.00 each for the 19" sizes (up to 12" wide).

Circle Racing makes a billet version as well. They were hovering around $1k ea depending on size last time I looked.
Legit, 'steel appearing' wheels made from Aluminum are not cheap.

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

I changed up my wheel look, still 15x8 rally with 255/70 rear-245/60 front. I did away with the trim rings , repainted the wheels , added an 1/8th inch blue stripe , painted part of the center caps black and replaced the straight spinners with some swept ones.

Yessir, confirmed on all those choices. Don't get me wrong, I like 'em, just not in the budget for my truck, as it's more of a "looks expen$ive, but isn't" -type of build for our shop truck. The U.S. Wheels versions should be just what I need, while saving ~$75-80 per corner. Mocked up my 305mm rear tire just the other day, should look pretty tough.

Wheel Vintiques 15 x 7 front 15 x 8 rear with 4-1/2" Backspacing. Tires are 235/70 front 275/60 rear. Stock rear diff on the '67. Everything bolted up just fine and looks pretty good. Rims painted same color as the roof, which is GM 526 India Ivory.

I went ahead and ordered a single U.S. Wheel "rat rod" series, PN 69-2950, which is a 20x9 (wanted a 10", but hey). When I opened the box, I literally quipped to my buddy, "Uh, that looks kinda' dumb", haha. Bolted up to the actual truck though, it looks like it's gonna' be just what I wanted. Here's a few pic's.......
