What is This? found on driver floor

Can anyone tell me what this is? Looks to be a little light of some sort. I found it on the floor driver side.

Not anything from our trucks that I've ever seen. Printing on the sheath looks kinda new. Looking forward to the real answer.

Check for the bulb in the heater control panel.
But I looked at it again and it looks like single LED bulb. So, no clue here.

i checked the lights on the dash and the green left turn arrow isn't working. The signal click works but no light on the dash.

What lights up the signal arrows?

The same kind of peanut bulbs that the rest of the instrument cluster uses.

No. At least not in my 1981. The side lights are markers that should stay on constantly as long as the headlights are on.
