A quick confirmation before I order springs

I have a 68 longbed (coil spring rear). I just swapped a 85 Suburban front crossmember into it to get disc brakes.
I want to lower the truck just a bit and get it level. Not really looking to drop it. I happen to have a set of three inch drop springs for the rear already.
Even with the 85 front, I should be ordering 1" drop springs for the front to be level, correct?

the factory rear springs in the truck are wiped out and dont even match each other, so I just want to check and make sure the 85 front end doest affect ride height, i.e. i would need a different amount of spring to make it level.

The front ball joint is shot on the front I swapped in, so it probably the right time to change the springs since I need to realign anyways.
