Speedometer cable length?
Does anyone know what length of speedometer cable is needed in our trucks with a 350 turbo transmission?

I just measured a cable for a 4x4 and it is 84" long. If you allow for the speedometer connection on the transmission instead of the transfer case, there is a 10" difference in length. A 74" cable will work on the 2 wd. Depending on the routing you can probably go with a shorter one.
