Just what I need...another project

Because having one truck not on the road isn't enough, I thought I should start another one!! I have a frame and a bed without a home and I happened to stumble upon this. Haven't seen it in person yet, but going to pick it up this weekend.

I have 2 non runners, it's about time you got with the program!!!

Can't wait to "see" details. Looked like glove box decal was there...........

I was trying to think of something else snarky to say that Doug and Bob McKenzie would say on TV...I can't....

Got the truck home. Needs rockers and driver side cab corner replaced, but other than that seems super solid.

The owners said it had been sitting in the shop for the past 10 years. They couldn't get it to run before we got there, but once I got it home played around with it and had that 350 going in no time. Spid is there but cant make out what half of it says.

Re: Just what I need...another project

I don't really want to do it, but it being a one ton and no bed on it doesn't make the truck very practical or useful to me, so it won't be looking like this for very long.

I have a half ton frame and short step side box, so the plan is to move the front clip and cab over to the 1/2 ton. The frame already has a 2/4 drop on it and has been converted to 5 bolt and front disc brakes. 350/TH350 drivetrain to go in, but I'm thinking of maybe finding a 700r4 as I'm thinking of making this one a semi-daily driver out of it so I can really enjoy it.
