In today's times best off putting a GPS tracking device with a big 9 Volt battery that is rechargeable. If the truck is ever turned on it recharges the battery. I put one that is in a box under my Gas tank ran the wire with a voltage drop in with the relay wire they never will know its there How many people take the gas tank out its the one part most of them don't fk with perfect place and Have it set to if the truck is moving you get a message. Never could understand why any of are old cars ever get stolen

Do you have any pics of this install? I'd love to see how you did this.

I am very sad to see that.....but thanks for posting the "before" and "after" pics as we all could use some reminding what is awaiting us for daring to have something not many people have.

One thing I learned is stolen vehicles are zero priority for the police these days. It took three days before a community officer was even available to file a report. The online report system was non-functioning. I’m not throwing rocks at the cops here, I suppose they are busy with bigger stuff these days, but yeah ....

Sorry to hear about the stolen truck, I’ll sure keep my eyes open for anything surrounding that. Good luck with getting her back.....

Three days to file a report?!?!?! I am a cop, and I file my stolen vehicle reports IMMEDIATELY when I respond to the call. I enter them as "stolen" into NCIC within five minutes of taking the report.
In my state stealing vehicles is dangerous for the thief. Here in SC, any citizen may shoot and kill a fleeing thief, burglar, or person in act of felony that they catch AT NIGHT in the act. Said citizen is completely immune from all civil and criminal prosecution as well.
