K20 factory steering box brace
I am restoring a 1972 k20 super and just found that a bunch of stuff is missing from my shop and am in need of a factory frame reinforcement for the steering box if anyone knows of where to buy them. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: K20 factory steering box brace
I have never seen or heard of a factory steering box brace for a K/20. I have seen them on 72 K/5s . i have cut them out and welded them onto K\20s before just for the added security.

Re: K20 factory steering box brace
^^^ I agree, not a factory option that I'm aware of. Some people welded a brace in there when they noticed the frame was cracked there from hard wheeling with over-size wheels and tires.

Re: K20 factory steering box brace
I know that some k10 frames came with them from the factory, I've had two of them.
