Drop shackle help please
I have a 71 C10 with a leaf spring rear. I tried to install Crown 2 inch drop shackles, but the shackles hit the bottom of the wood bed floor. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it?
Thanks for the help, Jason

Pix of the shackles. And is this part # exclusive to the earlier (yours) C-10's?

Re: Drop shackle help please
I assume it is hitting the crossmember and not the actual floor? If I remember on the instructions for the ones I installed on my C2500, if you went to the lowest point that crossmember had to be trimmed for clearance.
