1984 Chevy grille to 1985 GMC grille

So I've been perusing the ol' LMC catalog to see if it's feasible to swap the grille from my son's single headlight 1984 chevy to a single or dual headlight 1985 GMC grille. Basically, I need to know if the grille insert has the same mounting tabs and are they the same width as each other? I want to keep the single headlights and trim on the truck now. LMC lists the inserts are separate part numbers for single headlight vs. dual headlight, but if the width and mounting tabs are the same, I suppose the only difference is tabs for parking lights on the double headlight model, yes? Those tabs shouldn't effect me.

If you are just swapping the grills center pieces, piece of cake. they interchange easily. Nopw the surround for the headlights do differ between the single/dual headlights since the headlights are larger for the single version.

The mounting tabs are the same. The different part numbers are because those are different style of grilles, from one to the other.
