Question??????
Does anyone know what year GM went from glass fuses to the new Mini type in trucks? The little plastic square ones. I want to try and find the first year truck and see how hard it is to swap it over on my daughter's 68 truck build.
From this to: This:

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

Re: Question??????
If you can't find a complete used harness for cheap. Speedway sells a good 20 or 22 circuit universal harness for about $189 if I remember correct.

Re: Question??????
The EZ Wire harness is less than twice that expensive, and it is good.

Re: Question??????
Well right now the plan is for a later model one and hopefully it has all the wiring I need for the upgrades already in it.
One thing I have found on the new harnesses is to check and make sure they have all the things you want. Like double blinker fittings, some don't have them like our trucks use. Make sure you get it for a auto so it has the pigtails for the NSS also.

Re: Question??????
If your going junk yarding, remember to either get a dash harness that match's your engine/ forward lamp harness or get those to match the "new" dash harness. You'll need the engine bay connectors. P.S. I have a lot of Factory terminalls and stick fuses.
