What are your goals this year for your truck?
I want to get my truck out and start driving it. Sometimes life gets in the way and so it has with me for the last couple of years.
Its time to make tracks and play some Oldies Goldies... I plan on installing the CB Radio and 8 track player.

Trade it for a Blazer or if I keep it a new long block and seat cover.

I am hoping to get the body finished and painted. Otherwise just enjoy and drive it.

Take the drive from the Midwest to the C10 nationals in Tx. After that just plan on enjoying it and possibly body work.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
Truck should be back in my garage in a few weeks after it's successful heart transplant. I hope to be putting some miles on it soon. I've got a couple of cosmetic items I want to address, seat cover and replace missing passenger side eyebrow molding. Fix front right turn signal (see picture). Probably new tires and wheel center caps. Maybe start looking at AC. Maybe get rusted rocker panels replaced. That's about it...

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
I'd like to clean up the dash, putting the tach in the right place and the trans oil temp gauge in the unoccupied hole in the gauge dash. I'd leave the vacuum gauge that's in the tach hole now, out. I'd like to do something with that giant fuel gauge, like maybe get a vacuum gauge in there instead, with a smaller fuel gauge. That giant thing is an eyesore, to me.

Not a C10, but a 72 C50. I hope to make it mine. It belonged to my Grandpa and I've found it locally with brush overtaking it. I would love to drag it home if the owner will part and begin some resto-therapy on it.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
I am way behind most of you. My rear brake parts are supposed to arrive tomorrow so first order is to get all new brake hardware installed.
Then I’ll flip it around in the shop and go to work on the front end. Install power steering and rebuild front end with disc brake swap. Install new brake lines and at that point it will be rough but roadworthy.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
I'd like to set up forward and reverse cameras. I don't have an ashtray and plan to make a bracket to install there for a 7" touchscreen to use to display the camera feeds. The idea is to use a Raspberry Pi to control it all. The RPi could then be used for other things as well. The RPi isn't the cheapest way to do it, but it should be fun.
I figure the front camera could be hidden in the plastic grille insert easy enough, and a rear one I'll install either in the bumper or the canopy. Have them record as good insurance in case of an accident, and be handy for parking in tight spots. Edit: On second thought, the big goal is to make the drive from Washington to Wisconsin in one piece. Moving for a new job this Monday and crossing my fingers for no snow and low wind speeds. Driving a 15' box truck and trailering the c20.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
I would like to get it assembled so it’s road worthy and get some miles on the engine and trans, which I recently rebuilt myself. Then next fall get it ready for paint.

Finish the Frame off build (I am really close) then, detail it and just go out cruising on Friday and Saturday nights.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
Rockers & cab corners, new carpet.
Last year a dock truck at work hit the side/ rear and did $3300 damage 😡so I will need to fix all that damage as well. Easy fix, but hate to work on the stuff that was not in need of attention. I have been wanting a tremec tko600 5 speed or the T-56 magnum 6speed, but then again one can find a low mile 6.2 with TR-6060 out of a wrecked Camaro for not much more $. Then again I would love a big big block..... it’s a rabbit hole......Help

Go through the suspension lower it and cut it down to a short bed.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
I’d like to get mine on route/in a container heading for home down in New Zealand I seem to always run out of time while I’m over there. I need to do some homework on all what’s involved in getting that done.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
Find someone to balance the driveshaft to get rid of the vibration at 60 mph.
I got a new set of door / window seals for Christmas. While I have the doors apart, I might try to reinstall the camper mirrors. Got a camping trip planned in May. Finish custom dual battery wiring. Wire up 'Ignition On' fuse block.

Re: What are your goals this year for your truck?
Remove the 327, do rebuild, take all the aftermarket crap off and go back to Factory. While doing that I’ll put my fresh built 350 in there to continue driving during the summer months.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Since I have a shelter built, I plan to move the '67 project in there and see if I can start doing things with that. Plans for the '72 are new exhaust system, maybe stick some music in there. I have a pair of door panels with 6 1/2" speakers in them and an AM/FM/Cassette.

Thanks! I'll check them out. Bit of a drive for me, but worth it knowing they know what they are doing.
