WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

As the thread title says I need some leveling mats.

Also looking for the chrome rear CST panel strips that go on the top of the rear panels

Parchment 1972 CST door panels with the stainless trim

Tailgate to side bed strips and rubber seals

Thanks
Mark

Re: WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

I have a leftover set of leveling mats from my 1971 Jimmy project. They have repaired cracks but are otherwise sound. I will pull them out of storage today, get them cleaned up and will send you some pictures. I have other leftover parts from that project also if you need anything that you didn't mention. Please PM me your email or phone #.

Yes, could you post a picture of the nicest set laid out showing cracks? Can't really tell from the pictures.

At your convenience, they won't be needed for months. I just want to get some while I can.

Thanks

Re: WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

Mark, I must have sold the good ones. I could only come up with 3 sets and I'm keeping the best for my k5 and the other 2 are not what you want.one set was cut out on the corners do to a role bar and the other set is dried out both have splits and tears. But these are hard to find in good condition.

Re: WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

These are probably not repops for two reason.
The lower volume of the Blazers/Jimmys.
Plus even though they are rubber and not steel part, the two parts are large rubber parts and also complex because of the peaks and valleys. This means higher tooling costs.
With the low volumes and higher tooling costs there is not return on investment to justify making new tooling.

Re: WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

We bought a bed rug mat for newer truck. They have the valleys for a pickup underneath. Wonder if it would match up to a blazer. Just a thought. If would have to be cut to fit and ruin it for use in anything else. But maybe look and measure the underside first. Or maybe find a friend that has one and look at underside of it and see if it will work first.?? Just a thought. I know beds are different now but maybe.??

Sounds interesting, I don't think I have seen a bed matt/rug with ridges. Do you have a link to one?

Re: WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

Dont know how to send a link but look up bedbugs on Google look at the underside of the mat. Dont know if you can just buy underside of one. When my son gets home I can take a picture of underside of his.

Re: WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

painerljp,
Looked at the bedbugs site.
Looks like a very viable alternative to the unobtanium oem rubber leveling mats.
Great find!!! Thanks for sharing with the forum.
They don't have size to fit out 67-72 blazers/jimmys.
so it looks like you buy a larger mat size and cut to our bed size.

Re: WTB Leveling mats in real good shape

This one is for van floor couldnt get the image of a truck one to load.. I imagine you could get one close to ribs needed you could somehow grind down areas to match your particular rib pattern on bottom side. Good luck in hunting. Let know what you all find out.
