Help with ride height on 72 Jimmy
I have a 72 Jimmy 4X4 (mine is the one on trailer in picture) and I want to close the wheel well gap. I like the look of this orange one that I have used as reference (worldwide vintage autos). The current tire/wheel combination on my project is LT 265/70R/17 and I don't like the gap. The orange one for reference has a smaller tire but less of a gap (LT 205/70/R17). Both are 4X4, is it possible the orange one has some lowering suspension components?
How do you recommend I close the wheel well gap on my Jimmy? Wheel/tire combination? I would like to keep wheel size 17 inch or larger. |

Re: Help with ride height on 72 Jimmy
If you want to close the gap, use larger tires. Lowering will cause you issues. If you want something lowered, get a 2WD. Lowering a 4X4 will cause the suspension to bottom out.

Re: Help with ride height on 72 Jimmy
Get some 33" tires on there. Should look great.
