I've used spray chrome in the past (many years ago) and it is usually just silver. They may have made improvements over the years, but don't expect it to look like the cap!

I used the chrome one last summer on the inside of my tail light and backup light housings in the rear to try and reflect more light to make them brighter (that was the plan anyway) It does NOT come out like the cap, more of a bright silver color.

Good ole "Carolina Chrome", that stuff is crap. There's no substitute for chrome.

Alsa Corporation has a new spray chrome out that is awesome as hell, it looks almost exactly like chrome. Just very expensive either way you go they got a spray chroming system or urethane compatble spray chrome paint. Check it out http://www.alsacorp.com/

just cover the part in some glossy duct-tape and you'll have a similar effect

ceramic coatings work good in place of chrome, many of the hotrodders have gone to it on suspension pieces for the lower maintenance of the paint verses chrome

Whoa, at those prices, I think it would be better to have the parts chromed. 8 oz. - $150. It better look like chrome at that rate, LOL!
