Moving and storing C10 Cab
Question:
I need to move and store a 1969 C10 Cab. Can I place it on a pallet, on the back window area (firewall up), and move it with a pallet jack? Can I leave it on the back on the pallet or will it cause damage? By the way, the cab is bare. Thanks in advance for your answers. |

Re: Moving and storing C10 Cab
I have moved a bare cab firewall down. No damage I don't think I want to put sheet metal down. Why risk it?

Re: Moving and storing C10 Cab
Put blocks of wood under the floor braces and leave it standing so you dont have to worry about any new dents.

Re: Moving and storing C10 Cab
I wasn't storing my cab while I stripped the paint and getting it ready for body work I built a dolly out 2x4's that was bit smaller than the size of the cab and then added caster wheels so it was easy to move around. Had about $50 in materials.
