'67 front disc conversion question

I need to clarify something on my conversion. I have a '67 1/2 ton and I will be using a set of spindles from a '71 C10 and they are a 6 lug set. So were the 6 lug discs on the '71/72 only on 4x4's? I need to replace my ball joints to install my new spindles and just need to know which are the correct ball joints for my new setup.

Re: '67 front disc conversion question

The 6 lug disc never was factory on a Pre-86 2wd truck. They are a new aftermarket part.
But, to answer your ball joint question... the upper and lower ball joints just match the specific year spindle you ordered. Also... all your steering linkage must match the specific year spindle used as well.
