Retro fit Late Model Dash?
I know anything is possible. But has anyone ever put a newer year dash in there trucks?
Some of you may know my truck was in the camp fire. So im starting over with ideas. Im loking at replacing the stock metal dash support (whats left) with a universal pre runner/trophy truck style dash. anyway However looking on e bay for example there are complete dash's out of full size trucks that i think would look awesome also. other than trimming the newer dash (shorten it) up by the defrost vents. with some fab & welding skills i think it could be done. Any thoughts?

Re: Retro fit Late Model Dash?
I think the biggest hurdle you’ll run into is the proportions, the new trucks have really deep wide dashes to cover all the extra junk they pack around. I think it would take a ton of fab to make one look decent honestly.
