booster vacuum hose location
I have a 68 C10 which is now dropped 4/5 with a ECE kit which went great. But I am adding the new power brake booster and am unsure as to the location of the power booster vacuum line. Does the 3/8" line go from the booster to the carb or intake?
Thanks for any help |

I've run them off the intake or the back of the carb. Either one works well. Some carbs like Edelbrock and Rochesters have a threaded port down low on the back just for this.

Yeah, what he said. When I change to an Edelbrock intake, I had to hook my vacuum booster up at the base of the carb. This is manifold vacuum, not ported, which is what you need for the booster. If you have an automatic, you may have to put in a tee to supply vacuum to both.
