Post Can someone run Desktop dyno numbers for me?

I don't know what kind of info you need but, here is what I'm thinking about:
350 bored .030 over, flat top pistons, Vortec heads, Edelbrock 600cfm carb (750 if I need to), Edelbrock Performer intake and Crane 266 cam.

  • 72 LWB; 350/350,PS,PB,Posi,all original........for now.

I have seen dyno sheets on that combo, with a comp cams XE 268,& with no bowl work on the heads 380 hp. To go with that much lift, you will need to cut guides,& change springs. You might also think about a slight dish on the piston, to keep compression in line for pump fuel. Good luck.....69 longhorn.

Thanks for the info hotrod horn.
This may all take place a little sooner than I expected. I have been waiting to do any of this stuff to my truck because I need to get electric run to my garage. The first estimate that I got was $3200....that was upgrading the service to the house to 200A, running to power to the garage and wiring the garage (plus a few other small things). I just got another estimate....to upgrade the service and run the power to the garage....$980. They will also wire the garage for $735 but I'm gunna do that myself.
So, hopefully my motor will be coming out and going to the machine shop in the next month or so.......wooohooo!!!

Thanks 704X4......I talked to the machine shop today. They said that I'd have to go with more dish than what I have now to keep the compression where I want it.
Hopefully I can get this started in the next month or so.

Thanks again

Thanks for the offer bigjimzlll... when do ya want to start....lol.
yeah.....that is a really good price. I had to call the company back to make sure that it was everything I wanted. Everything from the box out to the meter is already set up for the 200 so that saved me a few bucks.
