Final floor suggestions Carpet or Some type of Liner
I am wrapping up replace the rockers and sanding and painting the interior of my truck. I was hoping to get some suggestions on the best route to go for my floors. I drive my truck a lot in the winter and am looking to go away from carpet, Plus its way to expensive to ship a carpet kit up here.
I would like to sound proof but then I would have to go carpet. I was thinkning about going with some type of rhino liner or lizard skin but I don't know if that will cut out the noise like I am hoping. Just looking for some suggestions and what my options might be. Thanks |

Never seen anyone just use a coating. I’d think it would transfer road noise, but be better than bare metal.
I plan on the rubber floor mat, similar to what the factory installed, but hopefully heavier material. |

I put this in my C-20 Ramp truck. I'm very happy with it. I also use my ramp truck as a work truck so having the mats works well. A stiff broom and it cleans up good. It's not perfect but it's fine for the truck.

Those floorliners would probably work well. Weathertech doesn't list them for our trucks, but there are a few other companies that make something similar.

Lizard Skin comes in two coatings, sound and heat. Ive used it on two truck cabs and really like it. It isnt cheap, but I have no way to compare it to other modes because Ive never wanted any other type.
I put full size repro rubber floor mats over my Lizard Skin. Probably doesnt help you because of the shipping costs you mentioned. They make a lot of generic floor mats though that you can cut to fit. I know a member here recently showed a pic of the mats he got from Weather Tech and they look really nice.
