Gmc v6 hose clamps

Im restoring a 1966 GMC and looking for a specific hose clamp for the upper radiator hose. It will be stamped "A11" for the top hose. I've found the A12s NOS for the lower hose. Looking for very nice used A11 or NOS would be great. Looking for a source from all you GMC diehards ! These were ONLY used on all GMCs from 1960-1966, not Chevy, but may have been used on other brands like Ford .

Re: Gmc v6 hose clamps wanted to buy

So do they have to say A11 etc. on them?
Also maybe Mac's has them? - https://www.macsautoparts.com/model-...8-24617-1.html
Or maybe Jim Carter - http://www.oldchevytrucks.com/cart/p...1&i=10293|||||

This truck is getting little to nothing aftermarket so I've probably made it a bigger challenge than it needs to be , but I've had pretty good success so far. Thanks for your help !!

Re: Gmc v6 hose clamps wanted to buy

Appreciate all the help RocknRod. I have been searching ebay but looks like I missed a few. I have been looking at some of these that are close in size. I bought a few. Actually found 6 A10 1/2 clamps but waiting to get them to try. Thanks again for the efforts !!

Re: Gmc v6 hose clamps

60-66, with limited knowledge on vintage hose clamps, it seems that certain Ford vehicles used these type of clamps too, as you mentioned.

Go to part target dot com and type in A11 in the upper right hand corner and hit search. Find the "Clamp, Hose" on the selection of A11 part numbers and click the number linked beside it. It will give you some specs and dimensions and the OEM supplier and most importantly a National Stock Number (NSN). In some cases there will be a photo. If the A11 you need is a match you can probably find military surplus by looking around with the NSN, or even contact the OEM supplier if they are still around. This one has a bunch of suppliers including GM and other part numbers that you can search too. I have found stuff this way pretty easily. Note that parts made for the gov't are made to spec. Surplus parts from different suppliers may look different but they do the same job, so get a photo before you buy if looks are important to you.
