2001 Silverado dash wiring pinout help

Hoping to hook up the dash bezel with my LS swap. The wiring diagram matchs what I have. The left center A 1 thru 12... B 1 thru 12 is the dash bezel 24 pin connector A2 tach white wire. To pcm...seems easy enough......gets confusing with the speedo...A3 vss ..A4
Brown wire to cruise....A 5 gray wire computer data lines 1036 ?..can't find it listed on pcm pin outs I have.....Thanks in advance for any help.

Also asked Brandon Lt1 swap.com...he said they all go to splice pack #2 OBD port. I will probably tap that and hope for the best.

The VSS does splice off into several other modules, but you probably don't have any of those, so it would go from the PCM, C2 pin 50 to the instrument cluster on pin A3.

The pin A4 is an ignition "hot" wire, has 12v when ever the ignition is on.

The A5 wire gets hooked to the data link connector wire, the purple wire in pin 2.

Thanks for the reply Eric, sorry but you lost me...A5 data link wire purple wire in pin 2 ? Not sure where to get the purple wire.

Sorry, I guess I should have said to hook it to the dark green wire coming out of the PCM at C1-58. You would splice it in between the data connector and the PCM. All the serial data wires coming from the various modules go to a splice pack and are different colors. I was assuming you were using the data connector out of the '01 Silverado, which has an orange power, two black grounds and uses a purple wire as the data wire, but different vehicles may use different colors.

Thanks again, that helps a lot...I did find the 2001 Silverado pin out. I will double check C1 ( blue) pin 58 make sure I am using correct wire...
