Ramhorns

If I go to a V8 in my 81 in the future I was wondering if the Ramhorn manifolds will work on the squares without too much of an issue. I kinda like them better than the stock manifolds and don't really want to go with headers again (always hate the plug access with most all that I have had on a smallblocks). Thanks

Re: Ramhorns

They make a few different styles such as center dump and dog legged/ angled. Qlso corvettes had 2.5 inch center dumps. Can’t say i have seen them on a square body before.

Re: Ramhorns

Well, now I want some too.

Not to hijack the thread but are the Corvette ones available off the shelf? I'm installing a new engine and I would prefer to not use headers.

Re: Ramhorns

No mention of the nice aftermarket ramshorns that everyone sells already chromed or polished. Those look pretty nice.

Re: Ramhorns

These 2 also have the 2.5 collector like the corvette ram horns.

Re: Ramhorns

I had some on my 78 but they were close to the starter which caused some problems, just a thought for you.
