I sold it around 5 years ago, and have wanted another.
Welcome the new Hooptie!! Both are/were 2.5L/5speeds

Re: My new Hooptie
Liking that.
The beige of the old one really appeals to me as well.

Re: My new Hooptie
I'm going to have the new one painted in Beige/tan/sand like the last one.
This one will get a V8 and overdrive transmission.

Re: My new Hooptie
They are fun little trucks. Like driving a go-cart. I'm sure you'll go through tires with a V8.

I just can't see spending money for a swap for a 3.4 v6...

Re: My new Hooptie
Mine has the 4.3, plenty of power for my little go-cart. I did put a 3.1 from a Trans Am in my old one though. It had the 2.8 boat anchor.

Re: My new Hooptie
So thing are moving along, I found a bed in a salvage yard that is 95% plus nice, mine is beat to crap and has a 16x16 hole cut into the bed for fuel pump access
This one had a camper shell on it for a long time, probably since new, the inside bed is that nice. So this is 150.00

Re: My new Hooptie
And I'm on my way to get some of these parts, namely the door and front fenders.
Complete doors for 100/ea, is a good deal

Re: My new Hooptie
Money well spent.
New bed is cheap. I still think that pensioner hearing aid beige is one of the coolest colours/colors. You guys have so much access to parts, here in the UK, zero. I would love a tow bar for my S10 but unobtainable.

If you were closer I'd make you a deal on them. I plan (at this time) to run these wheels ...

Re: My new Hooptie
Still love your truck.
Nice modifications you are bringing along. Tank is huge. Wheels look tidy.
