Post horrible sounds from under truck!!!!

when i put my truck into reverse it makes a horrible squeeling sound , not a steady one, just like it goes, stops , goes stop, constantly , it doesnt stop!!!
is it my universal joint or what??
Help is appreciated fellas!

Do you mean the noise happens while you are moving (rolling) or just while you are sitting there?

I'd bet it's the dreaded muffler bearing syndrome! If not that, then it could be loose knibler pins.

if you have a 2 piece...then you are looking at either the UJoints....or p[ossibly the carrier bearing.....bothe are very easy to do and should only take an hour tops to complete.

check your motor mounts, the engine may be rocking the ps pump into something.
