Tranny press line ???
Hi all,
Once again I have come to the board for the information that I cant get anywhere else. I am replacing the th350 w/ a 700R4. I scraped the old tranny lines cause I will be installing new. I am also going to install a external tranny cooler inline with the radiatior. Which way should I route the cooler? through the top line or the bottom line. eg. which line is the pressure line? I assume the tranny lines top/top and bottom/bottom on the radiator. Any and all help apprecieated. John |

Where do you live? If you live in a cold climate you probably want the cooler before the rad if it does not get cold you can get by with placing it after the rad. The bottom line on the trans goes to the rad top line is return.

Feed the pressure line to the bottom of the rad....out the top of the rad to the bottom of the cooler......top of the cooler back to the trans. that will keep air out of the system crazyL
