Cool 12v Universal Heather

I've welded up my firewall, it was terribly rotted. Anywho, planning on in the future going with an aftermarket ac system but until then...I need heat for the winter. I was wondering if anyone has installed an aftermarket universal 12v heater. If so any recommendations as to best quality unit. Thanks in advance advice is greatly appreciated! Wondering if at all possible to wire it to the original heater control.

A friend had one in his old jeep, just a box type fan with the heater hoses going to it . https://www.princessauto.com/en/3425...t/PA0004240007

I used to drive VW bugs with no heat. So depending on how far you go here's a few tricks.

Wear a beanie. If my head gets cold. I am cold.

Gloves help with comfort. Even cheap work gloves work fine in 50* weather with your hands on cold plastic.

I have been wearing a gaiter face mask since my truck is down, and I am driving a convertible. It keeps my neck warm, and keeps cold air from going down my back.

Keep a clean micro fiber towel next to you to wipe down the window. Till it dries off from the windows being down to clear it.

A 12V blanket works better since it warms you. Although they are a bit tricky to find.

I was going to post the same question, soon. I have been looking at cigarette lighter models. A lot of the ones on Amazon seem kind fire-hazardy but there must a good one out there somewhere.

Those little electric heaters will not keep you warm. It just isn't going to happen.

Get something like this
