Talking Great Meeting with Rays_dad & new69owner

I had the pleasure to meet with Rays_dad his wife and son. Also new69owner showed up. Rays_dad was on his way to Oklahoma from Japan. He had many great stories about the Japanese car culture and gave me a great magazine Cruisin'.
I had a chance to visit with new69owner and got to see his 69 chev 3/4 ton.
For all of you that couldn't meet with us you missed out on a good time.
I will post pictures when I get the film developed. Sorry no digital yet.

Hey Stllookn I see you got your new 1 ton how about some pictures.

Thumbs up

Sounds like some fun. I had an e-mail from Rays_dad the other day just before he left Japan, and we're planning on getting together sometime after he gets settled in. I look forward to meeting him in person, seems like a pretty nice guy from the contact I've had with him. Too bad we're all spread out all over the globe, it would be neat to have big board get-together.

Yah I remember the old show even tho I have only lived here a short time (52 years). Crusin' magazine is still available around here I get a issue every month it keeps me current on most of the stuff that is going on around here.
Are you going to the GM picnic this weekend in Graham?

Sorry I couldn't make it. My brother and his fiance came up from Portland. I also really need to get the truck running right but I'm dreading dropping the transfercase again to fix a leak between it and the tranny. Maybe I can get it running to head out to the picnic this weekend. Do you have any more details on it.
