Question OEM tool box door

What’s it worth? Original tool box door in great shape with only surface rust. Original paint and 100% complete with lock, latch, trim, door stop, and hinges. Every one I’ve seen is rusted out and I’ve never seen one for sale here on the board, other than an NOS one that sold for $1000 as soon as it was posted.

Re: OEM tool box door

I’ve sold the hinges (3) for $120 and have seen complete doors minus hinges sell for $300-$400. No rust through

Re: OEM tool box door

My first thought was $500. If I needed one I would pay that for one of that quality. You just don’t see them like that very often

Re: OEM tool box door

Scott, what you’ve got there is a pretty rare specimen. I’ve been offered more than 500 for the rust free door on my truck multiple times. Funny I bought the whole mint bed for like $250 5-6 years ago You really don’t see them rust free anywhere but in the southwest anymore it seems, and even then they are getting rare here. Do you have a key for the lock? The keys and locks can be a bit of a pain in the butt to sort out but it can be done. The locks/latch parts are stupid hard to find as well, it’s good that you have all that. It will help your sale price.

Re: OEM tool box door

How come you didn't get the opening and the liner? It looks like a nice door. Dies it sound scratchy when you shake it?
