Re: A '54 named Busty
i guess if i have to make an actually relevant post with words ... i appreciate the middle adjustability for future batteries, would use washers under the wing nuts on the end rods, and i ALWAYS toss those rods in a vise and over-bend the L leg. makes it harder to install some times, so don't go too far, but i've had too many slip out in the past. cheap insurance.
edit: unless you are running them upside down? |

Re: A '54 named Busty
well I could give you an answer or tease you a bit with a simple Common Core Math problem (if you got youngins you know what I'm talking about)
So I weigh 185 pounds. On the way in, the truck weighed 3,800 pounds, without me in it. I dropped off 380 pounds of metal at $0.0600 per pound and got paid $22.80 for it. On the way out I realized I had two 10 pound tool bags in the truck, one full of metric tools the other full of standard tools. I was also not in the truck on the way out, as the guys were pretty cool there and wanted to help me out find out how much she weighs. If I drove home at 75 miles per hour, how many trucks did I drive to the metal recycling place? |

Re: A '54 named Busty
so just a quick update, I've just been driving around lately wearing a huge stupid grin ear to ear, not posting this to rub it in by any means but to motivate you all still buildin' and a wrenchin', keep grinding, and if you have to let go of some of that perfection I say you do so and as David Fryburger says "don't get her right, get her running"!
