Flywheel Dustcover??

Having the darnedest time finding the correct flywheel duster for my '61. It has a 250 inline 6 mated to the original 3 speed muncie. I found a cover on eBay but it downs fit. Its body is angled at sides when it seems like it needs to be more of a 90.

Any ideas?

Re: Flywheel Dustcover??

Not sure if this will help or not. I have a 61 with 235 I6 and a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine was replaced with an older engine at some point. It think it may be a 57 engine. The first 2 pics are the bellhousing and cover that were on the I6. The 3rd pic is a bellhousing for a V8 so I can attach the transmission to a newer engine. ClassicParts has two covers listed for the V8. A front cover 90-915 and a lower cover 90-915. I'm assuming with the V8 you need both covers. Possibly you have a V8 bellhousing.

Re: Flywheel Dustcover??

It looks kinda like the third pic. Looks like id have to remove my starter? My engine is out of a 70 Camaro and I tried looking for one but it doesn't match. kinda frankensteined.
