Interior Paint Color - '65 C10

I need some help with interior paint color. My '65 C10 was originally light blue with a silver interior. Unfortunately, that color scheme was painted over by the previous owner to flat black with red interior. I plan to go back to light blue, but I want to switch the interior to tan/fawn/taupe. I've already installed new tan sun visors. I found a Krylon Fusion color called Satin Khaki that I think I like for the rest of the interior (see color sample picture below). It's a shade or two darker than the tan sun visors. My question is, how close is this to the factory tan interior color? Does anyone have a paint code for the factory tan?

Thanks.
John

The stock Fawn interior paint was a satin metallic. 2003 Nissan Sunlit Sand code EVO is a fairly close match if it doesn't have to be 100% original. You can tint it slightly browner for a closer match.

When did the start using the fawn for the interior? Was that back to 1960? Also, when was cameo white used as the accent color?

TCP Global has the correct Fawn interior color, spray can or gallon. Fawn started in 1962 and was used till 1966 but 1966 used a Dark fawn , dash only color , as well as the standard fawn on the rest of the interior. The white accent color was used in 1962-1966 as well , but most years used it a little differently either on the dash or door panels. GMC used the same fawn.

Re: Interior Paint Color - '65 C10

Thanks 60-66. My 62 and 63 have the cameo white on the instrument bezel, the steering column/wheel, and the area of the dash where the nobs are directly below the instrument cluster. I think they are the only areas that are white with the fawn on the rest of the interior. Do plan to paint the inside of my cab when I start to work on my truck. The outside body will be worked on as I go.

Thanks for all of the great information. This definitely helps with my interior color decisions.

Beautiful job on that restoration! Again, this shows how beautiful these trucks looked out of the box, factory interiors blend perfectly with any exterior color!
