If you're talking about the rear axle cables, they're very easy to change. After removing your wheels, take off the drums, disassemble the brake shoes, release the cable ends from the parking brake actuating levers, crimp the cable housing ends and pull through the backing plates. At the frame side, there should be a pin holding the cable housing to a frame bracket, remove the pin and you should be able to pull out the cables. The other end of the cable is very simple to loosen, just look at it and you'll see.
