Just getting to the party

Hey all you people that seem to be as sick as I am over these trucks.Just found this web site the other day and I made a request for a part for one of mine. A radiator support section for my 1970 Chevy and have been overwhelmed by people offering help. This evening I'm just taking time to learn how to navaigate this site. I have noticed that quite a few people list what they own/drive or working on. Since this site has been moved to my favorite button and I intend on visiting often, i thought I'd share/bragg about a few of my trucks. The green & white is my 70 Chevy, the maroon one is my 69 with 9,000 original mlies! The red one is my wifes 62 that she says she is going to be selling it soon.Want a new 4x4 surburban for her and the 5 kids.I say bundle then all up and let them all ride in the box of the 62. (But who am I to tell her anything.) There are also 2 70 GMC's and 1 69 GMC which I don't have pictures of right now. I have been dealing with this body style truck for appox.15years.They are by far my favorite.

oh, you might throw your location up there in the upper right corner so everybody knows where you are from....that way, if you ever need a part or are selling something, people will know how far ya are.

Welcome to the best board on the web. Looks like quite an impressive collection you have there...esp a 9,000 mile original rig. That is a one year only color...my GMC was that color originally.

One of the best colors for them IMO.
Hope to learn some things for you, if you been wrenching on them for 15 years, I'm sure you have a few tricks.

my 9000 ml beauty

I found this truck in S dakota a fella there had just got it from an auction.it is an original missouri truck . i was a bit skeptical when i first talked to the party but he assured me he was not bs,n me so i hopped in my truck and drove out there .it was the reel thing. i have all the papers and all. there has never been a tool ever took to this one .it had been sitting in a shed for a long time. only damage from sitting so long is minor surface rust on the frame.to this day I still freek out wen i go in the garage and their she is.

Welcome from the Twin Cities! Those are some nice trucks, man! Maybe you can make it up for the Minnesota (North-Central, really) board meet I'm trying to get put together. We're looking at October 2nd here in St. Louis Park. There's also a swap meet that weekend.

Anyway, glad you found us!
