Took my Jimmy out to the Half Moon Bay (CA) carshow today
Lovely time was had by all. Fun to see car guys and girls get together after COVID. It was packed, it had to have been at least 1,000 cars there. Some cool, some kind of average, but everyone had a good time. Loved the cops and the judge generations of police cars on display. The chief in my city had the 66 mustang police car on display.
As I was driving there I was reminded that my new fuel sensor isn't playing we with my old dash. It basically always stays between 1/2 and 5/8 full tank. Is this because I have a 90ohm sending unit and I should have a 30ohm or is it the other way around? Or is my sending unit broken and I need a new one? What ohm do I get for a stock 72 jimmy? Thanks all! |

stock unit should be a 0-90ohm - here is a post on testing one.

Did the Jimmy grab a lot of attention?
