How much interior paint

I will be painting the interior of my 67 truck red hopefully withing the next month. I will be using a single stage 4:1. I'll be painting dash, doors, roof, kick panels and the back wall of cab. I will not be painting the floors. I'lll be painting over primer. Will a quart of paint be enough to paint the inside?

So if it's mixed 4:1 does that mean you will end up a gallon of sprayable paint? If that's the case you should have more than enough.

No, it would be 1.25 quarts.

Re: How much interior paint

I'd be afraid of coming up short. Especially with minimum 2 coats. I'd feel better with 2 quarts, 2.5 mixed...

So many of those areas waste lots of paint to overspray, unless you dial your spray pattern down smaller, which can create other problems.

I see you're in Texas too. I'd make sure to have it all masked and ready, and wake up early one morning so it's not too hot. Blow it off, tack cloth it and spray...

Like caster says.
When estimating materials to cover a “Square Measurements”, add at least 10% to your area.
See if your supplier will sell you a quart and a pint, and you’ll have plenty for your needs and a little left over to fix Booboos or other touch ups

Re: How much interior paint

Thanks for the feedback. I'll just grab 2 quarts to be on the safe side.

2 quarts are probably just about the same cost as a quart and a half.

Re: How much interior paint

I sprayed my interior with a single stage and only purchased one quart. More than enough!
I sprayed the rest of the truck in BC/CC so the interior of the doors were sprayed with that.
