Anyone have a 454 with electric fans? Need advice
Just picked up a Flex-o-lite flx-295 electric fan kit for my Blazer. Got it on recommendation of a buddy who uses it on his 454 in his Chevelle. Well, I forgot to measure between the water pump and the radiator. Turns out I’m at 3.5” of clearance and the fan unit needs 4”.
Anyone dealt with this before? Gotta find a way to gain some space. Current thought is to somehow move the radiator forward. |

If you moved motor forward to avoid driveline angles/problems. That may have created the space limitation. The single 19" PWM fan I used is pretty slim.
