I don't know how many of you have restored or built a vehicle from the ground up, but I bet he's got more than that tied up in it. Personally, I don't like the paint scheme, just not my style.

Hey guys whats up, This is my first time here, I seen by my websiye records someof you were checking out my burb and from what I see some like some dont think its worth 28k, before you say its not, I think you need to take a closer look and if you have any questions I will be glad to answer them, By the way Thanks for the complaments, It has a ton of work and I drive it everyday as a matter of fact I drove it to the Street Rod Nationals just a couple of weeks ago. If you take the time to look before you question the price you may reconsider.

Its a nice burb, don't get me wrong, but I personally don't think its worth the asking price. (Jusy my opinion) I don't doubt for a second that you have alot more money in it then what you are asking for it. Believe me I HOPE you get that much for it because that would make my burb worth more as well as everyone elses. Just remember for what you are asking you can pickup a nice late model low milage suburban with luxuries like dual climate control, leather seats, on star, XM radio, and the list goes on. Reguardless I wish you the best of luck on your sale and let us know what you end up getting for it.

Personly,I would spend 28grand on this suburban before i would on a newer one.I guess that is why I have a 71 and a 72.Everyone has a new sub around here.I have only seen 1 other 67-72 suburbans in my area.The biggest question I get is,What kind of car/truck is that?

Yes you can buy a newer one for that,even with all of the add on fluff, But if you buy a 2002 for say...28K, what will it be worth two years from now, you will lose at least 5k or even more, A nice on like this will only increase in value so long as its kept well.
And as far as it increaseing the value of other suburbans "No" it won`t, the value is only determand by the amount and even more the quality of work you do to it, I have built custom cars my whole life most of them being pre 48 Street Rods, And the value I put on this one has nothing to do with it being a 68 Suburban, The value is set because of the work that has went into it, The upholstry alone is almost 10k, the matireal was $85.00 a yard, The glass is all new 30% real tinted glass not just window tinting, Just the paint and clear with no labor,primer or anything just paint and clear was $1500.00, I could go on and on about what has went into this Burb, And on a project like this I really don`t count my labor, This started out to be my shop truck and was never planned to go to this exstream but I just got carried away and now I can`t use it like I need to, and I want to sell or trade it for something else prefrably a nice truck and some cash, or what ever

Even though I haven't seen this Burb in person I have seen Leon's work. Like he said he has been building cars/trucks all his life, and it's not a hobby, it's a living.

Having been a car show judge for quit a few years I have had the chance to nit pick some of his creations. I can assure you they are all built to drive "and" look good.

I'll let you guys decide what the Burb is worth. I just wanted you to know if your interested in it you'll be getting a well built ride...

It looks like a well built Burb to me with at least that much in it in parts not including his labor. I would not pay 28,000 for it but that is because it aint my style but it is very nice lookin. It dont take long to put alot in one as most of us know. I have put 12,000 in my burb and it is far from finished. So I would let whoever is interested in buying it decide if it is worth the asking price instead of bouncin on his price.....

It looks like a 28,000+ Burb to me. The picture quality on my screen is pretty poor (pics look kinda grainy) but I can tell that a lot of attention to detail went into that Burb. I especially like the interior and the engine compartment. You may benefit from using some better pictures to show off your work if the internet is an important sales tool for you. You must have hundreds of hours wrapped up in that Burb. I have over 20,000 wrapped up in mine in just materials alone, but yours is much nicer. old discussion but $28,000 is propper priceing just because you cant get that price for your level of work dont begrudge someone else a fair price for their quality of work
