1970 c10 custom build
been watching and learning from other members builds and thought i would share mine. started this as a retirement build 4 years ago and finished enough to put a few miles on it last month. bought a rough 1970 long bed roller and stripped it bare. everything was done at home by my son and i.
i wanted a hotrod style build more than a restoration. pretty happy so far. |

built the console and seat mounts. wanted a hot rod style interior instead of a stock look

the seats are jeep seats from summit racing. not really what i want but they fit the budget and are comfortable enough

every part of the body was replaced with new parts. only the cab was stock chevy.

i used a gen 6 454. wiesco forged pistons stock crank and rods. comp 547 hyd roller cam and lifters. flotek 290 heads air gap intake. i used 69 chevelle headers but an going to change them. they hit the lower control arm. turbo 350 with 12 bolt 3.08 gears and eaton posi
