Thanks

LMC catalogs are very good, at least they have line art illustrations that kinda shows where the parts go. The best part, it's FREE!

LMC, summitracing, edlebrock... occasionally JCWhitney has something of use but not often enough

In addition to LMC, these are all good catalogs.

Classic Industries - www.classicindustries.com
Golden State Pickup Parts - www.golden-state-parts.com
Cheyenne Pickup Parts - www.cheyennepickup.com

There are many more catalogs that I have, but can't think of off the top of my head. LMC and Classic Industries are pretty much your best bets.

There are links on this site that will give you good info as well.

Hope this helps! Good luck.

Yeah Mitch is correct. Everyone should own an LMC catalog just for the visual data provided. They are "not" always the best source for parts but they do have an awesome catalog.....

Parts Catalog

I still think the best parts catalog is the factory GM parts catalog & the illustration catalog. I have learned more from this than any other source. I have a complete set from 73-78, 79-84, & 85 and don't know what I would do without it. They do come up on eBay, but you have to be carefull of missing pages.

I have one for sale 73-78... $10.00 + shipping from 78750. It's dirty but complete and readable.

For standard replacement parts, www.rockauto.com has a very good non-illustrated catalog.

yeah LMC is good in that it shows diagrams of where stuff goes and its accurate in 90 % of what it shows. And you get free shipping at $500.
BUT I just ordered a Classic Industries catalog for a mere 5 bucks, and its 800 pages long (including the older and newer truck stuff). C.I. generally has better prices, but shipping isn't free until 1000$
