The truck shop parts store

Anyone ever use their window regulators or door release regulators? How have they held up? Thanks

I installed them about 6mo ago. Also replaced the door channel and wing window felt at the same time. The outer thin rubber felt was so stiff that I was using to much force to roll windows up. So I just removed the outer piece.

So far they're holding up.

Re: The truck shop parts store

Absolutely junk. I really learned the hard way on this. I thought I would rebuild the doors on my truck, found all new parts to rebuld the doors and thought this is great all new parts .got the new parts installed, thru away all the old stuff. 1 year later the regulators are falling apart. Rollers already fell off. I’m about the convert to NU Relic power windows, life time warranty and made in America. If I could do it over again I would have just replaced the rollers on my old regulators. The rubber for the window tracks is very thin and cause the windows to rattle. Repops makes some pretty decent rubber to replace the window track felt.

Re: The truck shop parts store

I didn't use the vertical felt included in kit, they're more like adhesive back felt and rattled like crazy.

Turns out they have a different part no for the vertical felt which are like the OEM ones. Used those and worked out perfectly.

Key for me was getting everything lined up so glass rolls up/down without binding.
