Question Windshield Opening

Looking for a windshield opening from a 47-53 pickup 3100. Something close to Omaha would be nice.

Re: Windshield Opening

Before I close this, are you asking where you can purchase a new part? If you are asking about purchasing used parts from people here, you need to be a paid member. Please clarify this post.

Re: Windshield Opening

I don't believe that any truck trinket vendor sells just the pieces for that section of the cab and even then you would have to buy the top of the cowl and a roof section if the stampings are factory correct. Jim Carter may have a section of an old cab and he is 3 hours away from you. In fact three of the truck trinket vendors are in that general area well within the flat land go for a ride buy parts, have lunch and make it back before dark range.

I'm going to suggest beating the local bushes for a donor cab that has the area you need and little else going for it. Put your "I'll drive this far for it" radius on the map and search within that circle.

Re: Windshield Opening

Sir, I wasn't aware of that. Please pull it down if you need to.
