bedside removal question

hey guys,

I'm taking my SWB fleetside bed apart. sort of....

I've removed the tailgate..

I've removed the front bed panel...

I've removed the inner wheel panels...

I've removed all of the bed bolts and the bedsides still feel pretty attached in the back.

What did I miss? Are they welded back there?

While I've got ya'll here...

Where/How do I disconnect the wiring to the tailight lenses & reverse lights?

Thanks in advance

The bedsides are welded in the back, tack welds where the post meets the steel bed or the bed sill. The wiring has a connector underneath you'll need to seperate. Take the lens off and remove the screws that hold the light housing to the bedside and pull it out with the wire. Go slow so you don't skin the wire or tear off the connector.
